Na jej 35 rocznicę, a 75 lotnictwa cywilnego w ogóle, 24 IV 1979 roku Paragwaj wypuścił serię znaczków z kilkoma najważniejszymi statkami powietrznymi. Przedstawienia samolotów to głównie pionierskie konstrukcje francuskie i niemieckie. Niemcy mają ciekawą historię wpływu w Ameryce Łacińskiej. Niestety w rocznicę lotnictwa cywilnego właśnie oni byli reprezentowani przez dwa myśliwce z okresu Wielkiej Wojny. Reprezentowane były także Stany Zjednoczone, przez Boeinga 707 i prom kosmiczny osadzony na grzbiecie jumbo jeta.

On 35th anniversary of ICAO and 75th of civil aviation, 24 IV 1979 Paraguay issued a serie of stamps with few major air crafts. The presentations are mainly pioneer French and German constructions. The Germans have an interesting history of influence in Latin America. Unfortunately in an civilian aviation anniversary they were represented by two Great War fighters. The US were also represented, with Boeing 707 and space shuttle mounted on a back of a jumbo jet.
